Suspension of entry into the USA affecting South African travelersNovember 27, 2021
SA Chamber USA celebrated Heritage Day with the South African Community in the Mid-West. Our Consul General Phumzile Mazibuso gave a great speech celebrating the rich cultural diversity of South Africans in the USA. South Africans’ contribution to the USA society is immense. A young South African student from Colombia College in Chicago sang the National Anthem with such pride it gave everyone goosebumps. She still remembered the words from when she was a scholar in South Africa. The Ambassador of South Africa HE Nomaindiya Mfeketo thanked the South African community for their support and encouraged all to share their cultural diversity with America. The event was well attended with a great spread of South African food and wine. We are and will always be proudly South African.
