SA Chamber USA supported a high-level Zimbabwean trade delegation that visited the USA, comprising CEOs from prominent businesses and government entities in Zimbabwe. The purpose of their visit was to promote Zimbabwe as a favorable trade destination for various sectors, including industry, finance, and mining. Of particular interest were Zimbabwe's vast reserves of rare earth minerals and lithium, which are crucial components in the production of electric vehicle batteries.
The delegation engaged in productive discussions with key stakeholders in the USA, highlighting the infrastructure investment opportunities and potential partnerships available in Zimbabwe. They emphasized the country's strong human capital commitment to creating a workforce that meet the needs of a global business environment to attract foreign investment.
