During the Annual Black Business Conference in the USA, a pivotal moment unfolded as the South African Chamber of Commerce United States of America (SACCUSA) and Mr. Larry Yon of CyberAlliance formally signed a strategic MOU for a shared commitment to fortify cybersecurity frameworks, a fundamental necessity for facilitating and safeguarding bilateral trade and investment activities between South Africa and the United States.
CyberAlliance will encompass the enhancement of cybersecurity mechanisms and the promotion of innovation. In parallel, SACCUSA will channel its efforts towards policy advocacy, fostering robust business engagements, and disseminating vital knowledge.


The envisioned outcomes include heightened cybersecurity resilience, bolstered confidence in trade interactions, economic growth stimulation, and the active exchange of invaluable insights. The MOU's signing was witnessed by representatives from the Embassy of Zimbabwe and South Africa. The implementation of the MOU will be overseen by a Joint Coordination Committee from all states as stakeholders.
This proactive collaboration stands as a testament to the enduring pursuit of secure and fruitful international partnerships.
