South African wine tasting in Florida
The SA Chamber USA participated at a wine tasting event held in Tampa Florida in the beginning of October.
The prestigious event was hosted by lovers of South African wines to introduce new world wines to the Tampa community. The wines presented was an array of some of the most prestigious cultivars of the South African Cape wine lands. The featured wines included Meerlust Chardonnay, 2016 Storm Pinot noir, 2017 Badenhorst Cabernet Sauvignon, Kanonkop 2017 Pinotage and Klein Constantia’s Vin de Constance.
The hosts prepared authentic South African dishes to compliment the wines including some Koeksisters, Boere wors, vetkoek and bobotie. The wine tasting event in Tampa Florida was an absolute success. So SA Chamber USA will be partnering with John Sizer SA Beer & Wine to host more wine tasting events in 2021.
