THE EXECUTIVE ORDER & REFUGEE STATUS

South African Refugees in the USA

The South African Chamber of Commerce in the USA (SACCUSA) supports the initiative under President Donald J. Trump's Executive Order issued on February 7, 2025, which grants Afrikaners refugee status and facilitates their resettlement in the United States. This effort is in alignment with SACCUSA’s mission to serve the South African business community and dispora in the USA in a non-political capacity while fostering binational trade, investment, and tourism between South Africa and the USA.
