SA Women in Nashville Tennessee celebrating Women’s Month
August 25, 2022SA Chamber USA supporting South African Black and Woman-owned businesses during the Asante Festival in Atlanta showcasing Black and Women-owned businesses. Fumana International from South Africa was among the leading woman-owned industry players at the festival. The Asante Festival celebrates Black and African entrepreneurs in the highly competitive Wine and Spirit Industry. Asante Festival highlights African-American alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage manufacturers and celebrates their brands, increases awareness, and educates attendees in a relaxed and entertaining environment. Guests had the opportunity to taste a variety of wines, spirits, and craft beers under the theme “Drink Black”. The other featured brands were “Ebony Wines” from Congolese decedents. This black Women-owned winery has a unique “Kinshasa” Champagne label named after the Capitol of the DRC. “Random Whine”, “Red Hazel Whiskey” and “Schaffer Luxury wine” were all showcased and founded by Black Women entrepreneurs. Special mention was made of “Black Vibe Vodka” and “Indigenous Gin”. The Asante Festival will be featured on Food & Lifestyle TV on ROKU and is part of the “Drink Black” campaign.
